Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings as he continues to deal with a concussion.

The second-year running back was sidelined for each of the three practices since being forced from last week's game, as he's yet to clear the league's protocol.

Rookie Tevin Coleman, who started the first two games of the season, will again take over the lead backfield role as a result.

Wide receiver Leonard Hankerson and kicker Matt Bryant will also be held out due to hamstring and quad injuries, respectively.

Justin Hardy should contribute among the Falcons' top three receivers with Hankerson on the sidelines, while veteran Shayne Graham was signed this week to step in for Bryant.
