Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown will miss the rest of the 2015 season after suffering a broken collarbone in Monday night's loss to the Baltimore Ravens, head coach Mike Pettine announced.

McCown's absence down the stretch leaves the Browns with Johnny Manziel and Austin Davis as the lone signal-callers remaining on the active roster, though Pettine told reporters he's not yet ready to make a decision on the starter going forward.

Manziel was named the full-time starter heading into the bye week, but he was demoted to the No. 3 role in a disciplinary move ahead of Monday's game.

Davis, serving in the primary backup role, was effective in relief following McCown's injury. He finished the game 7-of-10 for 77 yards and one touchdown, helping the Browns get in range for a game-winning field goal before a block and last-second return saw the game end in Baltimore's favor.

McCown's first season in Cleveland comes to a close having thrown for 2,109 yards, 12 touchdowns, and four interceptions across eight starts.

Though he signed a three-year deal upon joining the team in free agency this offseason, another potential regime change could see the 36-year-old hit the open market next spring.
