Lions' Levy will play Sunday vs. Cardinals, Ngata ruled out

Andrew Weber / USA TODAY Sports

Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy will make his season debut Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, but defensive tackle Haloti Ngata has been ruled out of the game.

Levy was expected to make his return after having been a full participant in practice all week after recovering from a hip injury.

The loss of Ngata is a blow to the Lions, as the defensive tackle has been unable to practice all week due to a calf injury.

The Lions also have other injury concerns, including guard Larry Warford who is listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Running back Joique Bell and tight end Eric Ebron have both been ruled out as expected, after both were unable to practice all week.
