Bills add Cundiff, Moore

Dale Zanine / USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills made a pair of roster moves Wednesday aimed at addressing needs on special teams and offense, signing veteran kicker Billy Cundiff and wideout Denarius Moore.

Cundiff, who last played for the Cleveland Browns, is expected to serve as a kickoff specialist. There's also a possibility the Bills see him as competition for Dan Carpenter, who has missed a kick in each of the Bills' last three games.

Moore last played for the Oakland Raiders and spent the summer with the Cincinnati Bengals, failing to make the team. He will add depth to the Bills' hobbled wide receiving corps and could also be used as a kick returner.

The make room for the additions, the Bills cut Jordan Gay and Marcus Thigpen.
