Lions' Bell will not play, Levy doubtful vs. Seahawks

The Detroit Lions will likely be shorthanded on both sides of the ball heading into a matchup with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night.

Running back Joique Bell was ruled out Saturday, after missing the entire week of practice with an ankle issue. Rookie Ameer Abdullah should see work as Detroit's every-down back in his absence.

Standout linebacker DeAndre Levy practiced this week for the first time since being sidelined during the preseason with a hip injury, but his long-awaited return to game action appears to now be at least another week away. He was ruled doubtful for Monday, despite taking part as a limited participant in three consecutive practices.

Defensive end Ziggy Ansah was also listed as questionable, after suffering a groin injury in last week's game against the Denver Broncos.
