Miami Dolphins rookie running back Jay Ajayi left Thursday night's preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after suffering a chest injury in the second half.

Ajayi put together his most impressive preseason performance before being forced to the sidelines, recording 66 yards on nine carries and another 37 yards on two receptions.

The former Boise State standout, who was selected in the fifth round of this year's draft, has been competing for Miami's No. 2 running-back job behind Lamar Miller.
