Pete Carroll 'frustrated' with Seahawks offense

As the regular season inches closer, concerns are starting to mount about the lack of offensive production coming from the Seattle Seahawks.

The first-team offense failed to score a touchdown in six possessions against the San Diego Chargers on Saturday night, and has not scored one at all this preseason.

Head coach Pete Carroll is admittedly frustrated with his offense, but isn't ready to the sound the alarm just yet.

"We're all a little bit frustrated with it," Carroll said after Saturday's game, according to Sheil Kapadia of ESPN. "I'm a little frustrated by it, but I'm not worried about it. Just want to get the offensive linemen enough reps together so that they grow and make the calls and be really sharp."

Easing Carroll's frustration is the fact that running back Marshawn Lynch has played just three snaps this preseason and won't suit up again until Week 1.

Russell Wilson completed 7-of-15 passes for 56 yards yards and failed to complete a pass longer than 14 yards, but like his coach, he's confident things will improve.

"Ultimately we have to finish drives, and that's on me," Wilson said. "I think that I missed a couple throws there, but we'll hit 'em. And we believe that."
