Report: Jets' Leonard Williams has minor muscle strain in knee

The New York Jets got some great news Sunday when tests showed defensive lineman Leonard Williams suffered only a minor muscle strain in his knee during Saturday's preseason game.

Williams left the contest in the first half and was spotted walking with a considerable limp, leading some to speculate the injury could be severe.

It isn't. An MRI revealed Williams suffered no ligament damage, FOX Sports' Mike Garafolo reports, and the sixth overall pick isn't expected to miss much time.
