49ers' Kilgore underwent minor procedure on injured ankle; camp return pushed back

San Francisco 49ers center Daniel Kilgore underwent a minor surgical procedure related to his broken ankle last month, head coach Jim Tomsula revealed Friday.

The procedure will push back Kilgore's return to training camp.

Kilgore suffered the injury in an October loss to the Denver Broncos.

Marcus Martin is penciled in as the 49ers' starting center in Kilgore's absence.
