Browns' Haden on Pryor as a receiver: 'It looks like it could work'

Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden is among those buying into the Terrelle Pryor-as-a-wide receiver experiment.

Speaking with reporters at training camp Thursday, Haden said the former quarterback "looks the part" so far.

"He's huge, he's fast; it looks like it could work," Haden said. "... That's what I'm saying; if he can come out here and do it (against us) he can do it on Sundays."

Browns head coach Mike Pettine was equally complimentary.

"He looks great in a uniform; he's got a lot to learn," Pettine said. "A solid first step for him."

Pryor knows it will be an uphill battle to make it as a receiver, but said working out with Antonio Brown, Randy Moss, and Josh Gordon helped prepare him for the challenge.

As for what advantages he has over other receivers, Pryor credited his size and speed.

"I'm big and I just don't think a lot of guys can run with me," he said.
