Panthers' Charles Tillman safe after plane makes emergency landing

Veteran cornerback Charles Tillman's trip from his old stomping grounds in Chicago to his new home in Charlotte took a scary turn when the plane carrying him had to make an emergency landing.
A mechanical issue forced the flight to divert to Indianapolis and land, according to WCNC. The plane was checked out and cleared to fly, after which it completed its journey to Charlotte.
Tillman posted a video of the plane, with emergency vehicles surrounding it, to his Twitter feed:
