"American Ninja Warrior" is a show on NBC where athletes are pushed to the limit while running through an extreme obstacle course. So naturally, the NFL will be represented by a punter when the latest season kicks off on May 25.

Jon Ryan of the Seattle Sehawks will be participating and trying to do his fellow punters proud in the process.

"People keep asking me if this is the same as football," Ryan said. "In football I get pretty nervous - I've played in two Super Bowls, so I get nervous. But in football, I know what I'm doing. Out here, I don't know what I'm doing."

Still, Ryan is known for keeping himself in excellent shape and this promotional video seems to indicate he will be tough to beat.

The winner receives $500,000 for their respective charity. Ryan is playing for the Bob Ryan Scholarship Fund, a foundation that raises funds for cancer research and is named after his father.
