Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks gained $600,000 on the final play of Thursday's game against the Tennessee Titans.
Marks sacked Charlie Whitehurst on the final play of the game, activating a clause in his contract that would pay him six figures if he reached eight sacks in a given year.
In his first five seasons, Marks recorded seven career sacks, making it an unlikely proposition that the 27-year-old would get the bonus. However, Marks is playing the best football of his career in spite of the Jaguars' 3-12 record.
