Report: Dolphins' Moreno still 4 weeks from return

Miami Dolphins running back Knowshon Moreno squashed the growing optimism that he might be on the field after the Dolphins' bye week, telling the Palm Beach Post he's still about four weeks from a return.

Moreno suffered a dislocated elbow in the Dolphins' Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

The Miami Herald reported Tuesday that Moreno's target date for a return is Oct. 12 vs. the Green Bay Packers. That would put his recovery at just under four weeks, when his initial prognosis was four to eight weeks.

With Moreno sidelined, Lamar Miller leads the Dolphins with 227 yards rushing on 49 attempts (4.63 yards per carry).
