Every gameday during the regular season, theScore's fantasy editors recap the most important news and notes from around the league.

Bennett, Jeffery pick up the slack

Brandon Marshall missed much of the first half after aggravating an ankle injury and was held to a single catch, but Martellus Bennett and Alshon Jeffery came through.

Bennett caught five passes for 54 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Jeffery hauled in eight for 105 yards.

Their production was needed for more than just the quiet night from Marshall. Matt Forte was also bottled up and couldn't get much going on the ground.

Other Notable Fantasy Lines

Jeremy Kerley, WR, Jets
7 catches for 81 yards, 1 TD
Decker played just a few snaps because of a hamstring injury and Kerley capitalized on extra looks.

Chris Ivory, RB, Jets
10 carries for 44 yards, 4 catches for 52 yards
Ivory is splitting carries with Chris Johnson right now, but the Jets seem to be looking his way in passing situations more and more.

Geno Smith, QB, Jets
26-of-43 for 316 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs
A nice yardage total from Smith, but nothing from his play on Monday should give you confidence going forward.

Jay Cutler, QB, Bears
23-of-38 for 225 yards, 2 TDs
Not a terrible performance, but you would have expected more against a brutal Jets secondary.

Matt Forte, RB, Bears
13 carries for 33 yards, 6 catches for 43 yards
Tough matchup against a strong Jets defensive line. Forte should be fine going forward.

Injury Ward

Eric Decker, WR, Jets
Decker couldn't finish the game because of his hamstring issue. Those injuries can tend to linger, so keep an eye on his participation in practice this week.

Brandon Marshall, WR, Bears
Marshall went to the locker room in the first half after re-injuring his ankle, but returned to start the second half. He was obviously hobbled and his status will need to be monitored this week.

Waiver Wire

Jace Amaro, TE, Jets
Amaro had three catches for 54 yards against the Bears and is likely to become more involved in the offense as the season wears on.

Jeremy Kerley, WR, Jets
Kerley is available in a surprising amount of leagues. If Decker is out for an extensive period of time, look for Kerley to get a lot of targets.
