Panthers' Jonathan Stewart forced from game vs. Steelers with knee contusion

Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart left Sunday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after tweaking his right knee.

That's bad news for a Panthers team already without DeAngelo Williams, who is inactive Sunday night with a hamstring injury.

Stewart carried the ball five times for 31 yards and added three catches for 19 yards before exiting. He will be reevaluated on Monday.

Mike Tolbert took over as the primary running back in Stewart's absence.
