49ers' Kaepernick fined 11K for use of 'inappropriate language' vs. Bears

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was fined $11,000 for a flag he received on Sunday against the Chicago Bears, according to the Associated Press.

Kaepernick maintains he said nothing wrong and plans to appeal the punishment.

There may be some evidence to support his claim. Chicago Bears defensive end Lamarr Houston, who Kaepernick looked to be talking to when the flag was thrown, was unmoved by the brief conversation.

“I didn’t hear anything,” Houston said via the Chicago Tribune.
