Report: Nike suspends contract with Adrian Peterson

Following Adrian Peterson's indictment on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child, Nike has suspended its endorsement contract with the Minnesota Vikings running back, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

The news comes on the heels of Tuesday's reports that Nike stores in the Twin Cities had pulled all merchandise relating to Peterson from their shelves.

Peterson has been placed on the NFL's exempt list, where he will remain deactivated from the Vikings' roster until his legal proceedings are completed.
