Cowboys' Scandrick reinstated as part of NFL's new drug policy

With the NFL and NFLPA officially announcing a new drug policy Wednesday, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick was one of several players reinstated and is eligible to return this week.

Scandrick was originally suspended for the first four games of 2014, but will end up missing only two as a result of the retroactive changes made to the policy.

The Cowboys' defense has exceeded expectations so far this season, but the return of Scandrick is certainly good news for their secondary moving forward, as he should quickly step in and play a primary role.
