Broncos' Wes Welker eligible to return Sunday as league, players reach agreement

Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker will be eligible to play Sunday when the Broncos take on the Seattle Seahawks after the NFL and NFLPA reached an agreement on a new drug policy Wednesday.

The Broncos had hoped to get Welker back in time for last Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs after the NFLPA announced they had voted through a deal proposed by the league's owners, but there were still some issues to iron out.

Welker caught eight passes for 84 yards when the Broncos took on the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII at the end of the 2013-14 season.
