PHOTO: 49ers LB Bowman isn't afraid of a little knee surgery

San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman is set to go under the knife Tuesday, and he looks ready to take on the challenge with the same intensity he brings to the field. 

Bowman tore his ACL and MCL late in the 49ers' loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. He'll be hard-pressed to be ready to return to the field in time for Week 1 of the 2014 season, but it probably won't be because he can't deal with the pain of rehab.
