Patriots sign Hollister twins as undrafted free agents

Winslow Townson / USA TODAY Sports

The New England Patriots are clearly focusing on family ties with their undrafted free agent strategy, as the club told Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal they've signed twin brothers Jacob and Cody Hollister.

Jacob is a 6-foot-4, 239-pound tight end from Wyoming who caught 32 balls for 515 yards and seven touchdowns. Cody played receiver at Arkansas and saw limited time with the offense, catching only 10 balls last season.

It's not the first experience the Patriots will have had with a twin; Devin McCourty's twin brother Jason played for the Tennessee Titans before being released earlier this month

Both Hollisters went undrafted over the weekend but will be among the 15-20 rookie free agents heading to camp.
