The Denver Broncos declined to comment on a story involving Emmanuel Sanders allegedly lying about the birth of his child so he could be excused from a Nov. 6 practice, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post.

TMZ reported that Gabriella Sanders, Emmanuel's estranged wife, filed documents in court alleging her husband told the Broncos he needed to skip practice in order to witness the birth of his child, but was merely using an excuse to go partying.

Gabriella filed for divorce in October and said her husband spent thousands of dollars on hosting affairs.

The Broncos nor the wide receiver commented on the allegations.
