Peyton Manning to take part in 'Roast of Rob Lowe'

When appropriate, Peyton Manning was one of the funniest personalities in the NFL over his career.
Now that he's retired, he's taking his comedy to the next level.
The former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback will take part in Comedy Central's "Roast of Rob Lowe" on Sept. 5.

Lowe has been a lifelong Colts fan and once took the football world by surprise when he tweeted that Manning would be retiring in 2012 after he missed the season with a neck injury.
Presumably, Manning will have something to say about that on Labor Day.
