Jazz president says report of coach Corbin's dismissal is 'not accurate'

The reports of Jazz head coach Tyrone Corbin's dismissal seem to be premature. After hearing the news, Jazz president Randy Rigby told the Deseret News via text message that the New York Daily News article was "not accurate. No discussion."

The news outlet also spoke with Corbin's agent, Steve Kauffman, who also refuted the original report.

“I’m not going to react to anything released by Mitch Lawrence based on my experience over the years,” Kauffman said, according to reporter Jody Genessy. "As far as I know, there has been no decision made.”

Corbin's contract with the Utah Jazz came to an end after the 2013-14 season.
