Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf struck in face by Seguin one-timer; expected to play in Game 2

Late in Wednesday night's Game 1 between the Anaheim Ducks and the Dallas Stars, with the Stars net empty as they attempted to erase a one-goal deficit, Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf was struck in the face by a puck. 

The puck was shot by hard-shooting Stars sniper Tyler Seguin, and struck Getzlaf directly in the side of the face injuring the Hart Trophy candidate:

Getzlaf was bleeding profusely and immediately left the ice in a good deal of apparent pain. There was only about 30 seconds remaining in the context, so needless to say, Getzlaf didn't return. 

After the game Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau updated Getzlaf's status, and it sounds as if Anaheim's first-line center will be available for Game 2:
