Report: Sabres GM Tim Murray shopping Ehrhoff, Foligno, five others

The Buffalo Sabres are looking to make some waves in the offseason after coming off one of their worst seasons in franchise history. Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports sources are telling him many players are for sale including three prospects.

Sources say Murray has been shopping RW Chris Stewart, D Christian Ehrhoff, C Luke Adam and RW Drew Stafford.

It doesn’t stop there, either. The Sabres will also listen to see what they can get for LW Marcus Foligno, LW Johan Larsson and D Chad Ruhwedel.

While it was speculated Stewart would not make his home in Buffalo and Ehrhoff was involved in trade rumors, it's surprising to see Marcus Foligno's name on that list.

Foligno was drafted by the Sabres 104th overall in 2009, and appeared in the 2011 World Junior Tournament representing Canada. He hasn't had a solid start to his career, scoring 18 points both this season and last.

Ehrhoff has seven years remaining on his contract at a cap hit of $4 million per season.

The Sabres' record sits at 21-59-9 with just one game remaining.
