Nick Young on burglary: 'I'm shocked they tried to get Swaggy'
There is an awful lot to like about first-year Los Angeles Laker Nick Young.
Not only is the gregarious guard the most exciting active player on the Lakers roster, but after having an estimated $100,000 worth of items stolen from his house Sunday night, Young remained amiable and even referred to himself in the third person.
I’m shocked they tried to get Swaggy.
Of the prized items swiped from his home, Young's Nike Air Yeezy 2 shoes -- worth a reported $6,000 -- seemed to be his greatest concern.
“They got me. They stole my Yeezy's," Young told Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News. “I wasn't expecting that. It was tough to get in after a good win to come home to that.”
Despite his disappointment, Young was thankful that the burglars were gone before he returned home.
“I’m glad I didn't have to be in that situation,” Young said. “I don’t know what I would've done."
That said, he may have been able to wrestle these treasured kicks off the burglar's stinkin' feet.
