After a slow start for running backs in the way of earning free agent contracts, the market appears to be gaining some momentum.

The New York Daily News is reporting that the New York Jets, New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers are the finalists to land Maurice Jones-Drew.

Jones-Drew and his representatives are expected to meet with the veteran this week at the league meetings.

Reports surfaced last week that Jones-Drew was looking for $3.5 million annually, but that might have to come down if he hopes to ink a multi-year deal.
