No. 1 Wichita State becomes first team to go 35-0 with dominant win over No. 16 Cal Poly

No. 1 Wichita State completely dominated No. 16 Cal Poly 64-37, resulting in the State Shockers continuing their pursuit of a perfect season.

Wichita State became the first team to record an overall record of 35-0, and was led Cleanthony Early. The senior recorded a game-high 23 points, while shooting 60 percent from the floor.
The Mustangs struggled mightily against Wichita State, shooting a horrendous 20.7 percent from the floor. Maliik Love led Cal Poly with a team-high nine points.
The State Shockers will play either No. 8 Kentucky or No. 9 Kansas State in the next round.
