Every year, Ontario Hockey League coaches from the Western and Eastern conferences fill out a ballot with 20 categories ranging from "Most Underrated Player" to "Best Shootout Goalie." Those ballots are tabulated and produce the results of the annual "OHL Coaches Poll."

On Wednesday night, the OHL, a league which produces more future NHLers than any other major junior or international professional league, publicized the 2014 Coaches Poll results.

Top prospect Aaron Ekblad - who seems rather likely to be the first overall pick at the 2014 NHL entry draft - cleaned up, and was recognized by Eastern Conference OHL coaches as both the top offensive defenseman and the top defensive defenseman. Ekblad also took home honors as the hardest shooter and the best overall shooter in the Eastern Conference.

Montreal Canadiens prospect Brady Vail was named the Most Underrated Player in the Western Conference, and was second in faceoffs to Vancouver Canucks prospect Bo Horvat.

Meanwhile, super prospect Connor McDavid - the surefire first overall pick at the 2015 NHL entry draft - was named the Best Playmaker, the Best Skater and the Best Stickhandler in the Western Conference. So he's pretty good at hockey, apparently.
