Teddy Bridgewater's Pro Day: QB sheds glove, struggles passing the ball

Former Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was under the microscope at his Pro Day on Monday, and one of the first things discovered by the horde of NFL coaches and front office executives on-hand was that Bridgewater no longer wears gloves.

And he no longer throws crisp, accurate passes, either.

At least, that was the feeling reported by NFL media on Twitter during and after Bridgewater missed some relatively easy throws during the passing portion of his workout.

Completion percentage during the scripted portion of a quarterback prospect's Pro Day often says very little about his future prospects as a passer (recall that both JaMarcus Russell and Blaine Gabbert received glowing reviews for their Pro Day performances), but Bridgewater's struggles are worrisome nonetheless. He doesn't possess ideal physical attributes - his accuracy was supposed to be one of his best traits.

Not everyone was quick to call Bridgewater's day a disappointment, however.
