FOX replays the 2013 Daytona 500 during rain delay, NASCAR fans think it’s live
Sunday’s Daytona 500 was under a rain delay for about 6 hours, so FOX decided to air last year’s running for the Daytona 500. Usually when an event being broadcasted is taped, there’ll be a mention of it on-screen. FOX put a scrolling mention of it, and some fans didn’t see it, which made for some interesting times on social media.
A lot of people thought that what they were watching was this year’s Daytona 500. When Jimmie Johnson crossed the finish line, entertainment ensued. Let’s take a look at some of the best moments during today’s re-airing of the 2013 Daytona 500.
