Germany's Geisenberger increases her lead in women's luge singles after second run

Day one of the women's luge singles competition is in the books, and Germany's Natalie Geisenberger, the favorite heading into the Olympics, has the gold all but wrapped up.

Geisenberger's second run came in at 49.923 seconds, and she's in top spot after two runs with a total time of 1:39.814, more than seven-10ths of a second ahead of her teammate Tatjana Huefner in second place. That's a lifetime in luge. 

Here are the top-10 sliders after two runs. It's a race for silver and bronze.
