Blackhawks acquire P.M Bouchard and Peter Regin from the Islanders
It isn't the Thomas Vanek deal that many have been anticipating, however, the New York Islanders have consummated a trade on Thursday night ahead of Friday afternoon's Olympic roster freeze.
From Newsday beat writer Arthur Staple, the Islanders have sent a pair of depth forwards in Peter Regin and Pierre-Marc Bouchard to the Blackhawks in exchange for a fourth round pick:
