Canucks D Yannick Weber sent back to Vancouver with undisclosed injury

Vancouver Canucks defenseman Yannick Weber has been sent home for evaluation after suffering an undisclosed injury in Friday's game against the Jets, according to the team's official Twitter account.

Weber has registered two goals and three assists while averaging 10:32 of ice time in 32 games this season. He is scheduled to represent Switzerland at the Winter Olympics in Sochi later this month.
