Kevin Durant drops career-high 54 points in win over Warriors

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant dropped a career high 54-points in a 127-121 shootout victory over the Golden State Warriors on Friday.

Durant's dominant night started with 29 points in the first half, and ended with a 13-point run where even a double team from Golden State couldn't prevent him from surpassing his career high, which he did unceremoniously on free throws.

And containing his excitement, Durant flatly told J.A. Adande in the post-game interview on ESPN, "I made a few shots, it felt good."

"Good" was 19-28 shooting, 5-9 form three-point land, four rebounds and six assists, all in 43 and a half minutes of playing time.

The Warriors were no slouches either in a night where everything fell in for both sides. The Stephen Curry had 37 points and 11 assists to lead his team.

Meanwhile, Durant shot an outstanding 67.8 percent from the floor.

Or, in more scientific terms:

You think that's scary? Look at his last eight games and then try to figure out how the Sacramento Kings (who play the Thunder on Saturday) will be able to slow him down.

And in case you forgot, Russell Westbrook has been out since he had a knee scope on Christmas, and three days ago, there were reports that the Thunder offence was stalling. They might want to re-think that.
