GIF: Claude Giroux scores insane backhand goal
On Thursday night the Philadelphia Flyers managed an extraordinary comeback. Down 3-0 to the Columbus Blue Jackets after 40 minutes, the Flyers scored five goals in the third period to win the game.
Flyers superstar Claude Giroux had a disastrous start to the season but he's found his form of late (much like his team). Giroux scored both the game tying goal and the game winner on Thursday night.
His game winning goal was particularly ridiculous, as Giroux managed to roof a backhand shot past Curtis McElhinney while his back was to the net and he was falling down. Seriously:

The win moved the Philadelphia Flyers into a wild card playoff spot for the time being.
