Report: Nick Saban and Alabama begin negotiations for contract extension
Despite not featuring in the SEC title game or BCS National Championship, Nick Saban is reportedly negotiating a contract extension with Alabama.

Earlier this year reports surfaced claiming that Saban was targeted by Texas to replace Mack Brown as head coach.
Saban joined Alabama in 2007 after a tumultuous stint with the Miami Dolphins. The 62-year-old has compiled an overall record of 74-14 with the Crimson Tide, including three National Championships.
