Celtics release three, Chris Babb still with team
The Boston Celtics trimmed their roster down to 15 on Thursday by releasing three players from their training camp contracts.
DeShawn Sims, Damen Bell-Holter and Kammron Taylor have all been let go.

Chris Babb still being with the team is interesting. He is the only player left with the team on a non-guaranteed deal, and his status could come down to whether or not the Celtics want to carry 15 players.
That's a potential sticking point as the Celtics are at the luxury tax, meaning his minimum salary will carry an equal luxury tax charge while also keeping Boston further from ducking under the line.
In five preseason games, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard has played 30 minutes, scoring 16 points with four rebounds and three assists.
Sims, Bell-Holter and Taylor all played sparingly in three preseason contests, totaling a combined 24 minutes.
