"Yo! It's me, it's me ... it's DDP."

Former three-time WCW Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page is the latest inductee into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class, World Wrestling Entertainment confirmed Monday afternoon.

Beginning as a manager in the AWA, Page slowly worked his way up to being a singles performer with World Championship Wrestling, where he'd find his most success in the industry. On top of his world title reigns, the master of the Diamond Cutter was also a two-time United States Champion, a Television Champion, and a four-time Tag Team Champion.

He had a short yet prosperous run with WWE after WCW was bought out in 2001. Page's first feud upon debuting on television was with The Undertaker, one of the most popular superstars of all time. An injury put him on the shelf for several months at the end of the calendar year, though.

Upon his return, Page developed a new gimmick where he worked as a motivational speaker. It was under that character that he'd become European Champion, retaining his belt at WrestleMania 18 against Christian.

He currently works as the creator and face of "DDP Yoga," which has helped several popular wrestlers from the past (Scott Hall and Jake "The Snake" Roberts, for example) find good health and take control of their lives.

Other names announced for the 2017 class are Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle, former SmackDown general manager Teddy Long, and The Rock 'n' Roll Express.
