Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's health has taken a turn for the worse and he is now in hospice care, his wife told a Lehigh County judge Friday, according to Sarah Cassi of Lehighvalleylive.com.

Snuka's attorney, Robert Kirwan, said the former WWE star has suffered several infections and that his latest one caused psychosis and hallucinations, resulting in him being hospitalized Monday. Kirwan also said that if Snuka's health continues to worsen, he could die within the next six months.

Kirwan was in court for Judge Kelly Banach's review of whether Snuka, 73, is competent to stand trial on third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the 1983 death of his mistress. The judge deemed Snuka incompetent in June due to dementia and other health issues.

Carole Snuka told the court that her husband is receiving morphine injections and other drugs in hospice care to ensure he's "medically comfortable."

The judge said Friday that she will issue a decision after reviewing records of Snuka's treatment over the past six months.
