AP Poll: Oklahoma rises to No. 3, Notre Dame drops to No. 9

Alonzo Adams-USA TODAY Sports

Clemson and Alabama remained at the top of the AP Top 25, but Oklahoma jumped Iowa to take over the third position.

The Sooners beatdown of Oklahoma State to clinch the Big 12 title was enough to rise two spots to No. 3, while the unbeaten Hawkeyes dropped to No. 4 despite beating Nebraska on the road Friday.

Notre Dame's last-second loss to Stanford saw the Irish plunge out of the top-4, all the way to No. 9, while the Cardinal rose six spots to No. 7 with the win.

The Big 10 owns positions 4-6, as Michigan State jumped one spot to No. 5 and Ohio State's demolition of Michigan earned the Buckeyes the No. 6 slot.
