UCF's winless season resulted in 15,000 free beers for fans

Central Florida's 2015 season was so bad that it'll be hard to forget any time soon, unless you're a fan of the 0-12 Knights.

After UCF lost its first four games of the season, an Orlando bar began advertising free beer nights during Knights games until the team won a game. Well, that win never came, and The Basement wound up giving away an estimated 15,000 beers for free.

"We thought we'd give free beer not thinking it would go the entire season," said Adam Caratini, one of the bartenders. "It turned into a pretty cool thing."

Per game, the bar gave out roughly 1,900 beers at no charge, as UCF went on to become the 13th FBS team to go 0-12 in a single season. Coincidentally, Kansas could join the Knights in that club with a loss Saturday.

It may take some time for the Knights to forget their horrendous showing this year, but at least their fans likely already have.
