Baylor QB Jarrett Stidham out for the season with ankle injury

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Baylor quarterback Jarrett Stidham will miss the remainder of the season with a broken bone in his ankle suffered in last Saturday's win over Oklahoma State.

Stidham, who took over for starter Seth Russell following a season-ending neck injury, has thrown for 1265 yards this season with 12 touchdowns, adding two scores on the ground.

Third-string quarterback Chris Johnson, who threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for another score against the Cowboys, will now take over for the Bears in Friday's game against TCU.
