No. 1 prospect in 2017 class Dylan Moses decommits from LSU

Troy Taormina-US PRESSWIRE / Reuters

Highly touted four-star prospect Dylan Moses has decommitted from LSU, announcing Monday on Twitter that he needs more time to consider his pledge.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker wrote that he wants to "think things through" to ensure that when he does eventually sign a letter of commitment, there are "no other schools in the mix."

Moses, a Baton Rouge, La., native, pledged to LSU nearly two years ago, a decision he said he thought was the right move at the time.

ESPN ranks Moses - who it classifies as an athlete - as the No. 1 prospect in the class of 2017.
