Obama unveils campaign aimed to eliminate campus sexual assaults
U.S. President Barack Obama is pulling out the big guns in an attempt to nix sexual assaults on college campuses, FOX Sports reports.
Enlisted in the cause are many star-studded faces on a campaign that went live Friday called ItsOnUs.org. They include NBA all-star Kevin Love, actresses Kerry Washington, Rose Byrne and Mayim Bialik, comedian Joel McHale and musicians Randy Jackson and Questlove.
Together, they've compiled a public service announcement that states the following:
"It's on us to stop sexual assault. To get in the way before it happens, to get a friend home safe, to not blame the victim. It's on us to look out for each other, to not look the other way. It's on us to stand up to step in, to take responsibility. It's on us, all of us, to stop sexual assault."
The website bluntly states with a black backdrop, 'It's on us to stop sexual assault.' Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are unveiling the campaign Friday at the White House.
