Ohio State pulls in coveted 4-star OT Wyatt Davis

Four-star offensive tackle Wyatt Davis, the eighth-ranked player at his position by ESPN, announced Friday his commitment to Ohio State.

"Ohio State is really the place I feel I can succeed at," Davis said of his decision, according to Ryan Bartow of 247 Sports. "I can reach all of my goals in football there. They can develop me into a great man and it's a place I would like to be even if football doesn't work out. It's the right place for me and it's always been my dream school."

Davis had numerous programs offering him a scholarship, including Alabama, UCLA, Michigan, and USC.

While he isn't the first to say it, Davis vowed not to visit any other schools between now and the day he signs his letter of intent to play for the Buckeyes.

"I feel once you commit you shouldn't visit other schools," he said.

Davis joins a long list of prospects committed to Ohio State's 2017 recruiting class, which currently includes 10 other players on the ESPN 300. Davis is ranked as the No. 35 overall prospect by ESPN.
