It's the story that won't go away.

The Department of Justice is now looking into the NCAA's banning of satellite camps, according to Paul Myerberg of USA TODAY Sports. Myerberg adds that the organization is calling coaches and conference commissioners in order to find out if the ban is taking away opportunities for players to get noticed.

It's a valid question, as many recruits use the satellite camps to show their skills to schools they would normally not be able to visit.

Schools like Michigan and Ohio State had camps scheduled this summer, with Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh planning to hold one in Georgia. This led some to believe the SEC was the driving force behind the ban.

Earlier this month a vote to ban the camps passed 10-5, with the Big Ten as the only Power 5 conference to vote against the proposal. However, the Pac-12 and Sun Belt would later reveal their conferences actually were against the ban, though they voted with the majority.
