4-star center James Banks commits to Texas

Texas has landed four-star recruit James Banks, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

The addition of Banks bolsters the Longhorns frontcourt, as the center is ranked sixth at his position, and 56th overall, on ESPN's Top 100 list.

The 6-foot-11, 230-pound native of Atlanta, Ga., is labeled as a true center with a solid mid-range scoring touch and an excellent rebounder at both ends of the court.
